MY DOMAIN - BY WALTER "CRUISER ONE" PULLEN - SEPTEMBER, 1989. It's like a flower-decked Maypole, Or a Maiden's braided Hair. People call it all sorts of Things, But I call it my Lair. A Labyrinth, a Labyrinth; Allow me to try to explain: How Mazes mystify like God; Why the Labyrinth's my Domain. It's like a million Fingerprints, Forming some macabre Rhyme. It's Evilness and it's Goodness, in the same Space and Time. This Labyrinth, this Labyrinth; O how it boggles ones Brain. It's only short of Infinity, Where the Labyrinth's my Domain. An owl soars over the Maze. The Maze is like Death and Life. It keeps us in and keeps them out; With Mystique it is rife. The Labyrinth, the Labyrinth; Deep Secrets it seems to contain. Its Feeling seems to fountain forth. Still the Labyrinth's my Domain. Passages coil and dance; Some end and commit Suicide. The Solution how it eludes- Paths with each other collide. Each Labyrinth, each Labyrinth; The way through forms a sort of Skein. Each level brings you new insight; And the Labyrinth's my Domain. From many other Realms they come, And into my Maze they start. It's a Test and a Proving-ground, Not for the faint of Heart. In Labyrinth, in labyrinth; So many give up in vain. A purpose is to irritate, Yes the Labyrinth's my Domain. Elite even find the Maze hard; You need psychic Luck and Skill. It's where the Neophyte goes down, Not for those seeking thrill. That Labyrinth, that Labyrinth; Bodies lie left and right slain. The Minotaur will eat you live; But the Labyrinth's my Domain. The path looks right but's a bad trap. I make that seem uncomplex. Like a vortex it sucks you in, Seducing you like sex. One Labyrinth, one Labyrinth; From entering you should refrain. No mortal Being could equal me, 'Cause the Labyrinth's my Domain. My Mazes can be enormous; So sadistically vulgar. Or as intricate as ones mind- One only will not err. Through Labyrinth, through Labyrinth; To Others are my Mazes a Bane. Memories are hard to forget, Like the Labyrinth's my Domain. Some have said they're equal to me; Compared to them I'm sublime. I could break them like a Bubble; I shouldn't waste my Time. Their Labyrinth, their Labyrinth; I treat all others with disdain. As good as those from Daedalus- Since the Labyrinth's my Domain. That damn Maze They will want to curse. To the hatred I do consent- Mazes are stupid and waste Time; And that's a Compliment. My Labyrinth, my Labyrinth; In the end only I remain. The others have left or gone Home, So the Labyrinth's my Domain. To no two means the Maze the same; We all see Maze diff'rently. But I can see it like Mirror- That's what it is to me. With Labyrinth, with Labyrinth; The obsession shall never wane. I'll create them 'till Time does end, For the Labyrinth's my Domain. In the end no one beats the Maze; Its Solution reigns supreme. The orange Sun shines eternally, With a crystal Gleam. Think Labyrinth, think Labyrinth; As King with the Maze I do reign. I create them and they make me; See the Labyrinth's my Domain!
